Description

Description:
Antique English pewter triple reeded plate of 10.75 inch diameter with a semi-broad rim. The front rim bears a set of hall marks for Edmund Embris of Blandford Forum, Dorset who worked 1697 - 1720, The rim also has punched ownership initials 'ES'. The reverse bears the touch mark of Edmund Embris.
Condition:
The plate is in excellent condition with a very lightly polished finish to the front, with traces of oxide. The reverse is also lightly polished with some light oxide.
Repairs: There are no repairs.
Size: 10.75 inch diameter (27.30cm). The rim width is 1.75 inch (4.50cm) 32.50%.
Weight: 702 grams.
