Description
Antique English pewter two handled ‘loving’ cup of 1 pint capacity. The cup stands on a flared foot with large strap handles, each with four heavily incised lines, the upper and lower terminals of the handle are of a ‘Y’ form.There are clear maker’s marks to the rim; there are no capacity verification marks.
The condition is good, there are traces of a repair to the lower handle terminal, and the cup is a polished silver grey with traces of oxide.
