Description
Antique English pewter 1 quart measure with a broad fillet to the body, slightly flared foot.Verification marks to front for Dover, and a rubbed verification to the right of the handle. Stamped ‘QUART’ to the left of handle and engraved to the front, ‘York Hotel, Folkestone’. There are no makers’ marks.
The tankard is in excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish. There are no repairs or damage.
A very heavy quart with a solid ‘leady’ feel.
