Description
Description:Antique English pewter plain rim plate by Wood & Michell of London, England, who worked 1742 - 1754. The plate has a good touch mark to the reverse, along with a 'London label', 'crowned X' and a 'superfine hard metal' mark .
The front rim bears a very well struck 'Borough Arms' for the town of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.
Condition:
The plate is in good condition with a lightly polished finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is also lightly polished.
Repairs: There are no repairs.
Size: 9.125 inch diameter (23.20cm).
