Description
Antique English pewter porringer of 12 fluid ounce capacity (3/4 pint to the Old English Wine Standard). The porringer has a bossed base and an attractive 'ear' handle. There are good turning marks to the underside.Circa 1700.
The condition is excellent with a fine polished silver grey finish, there is a small old repair to the inside of the bowl.
There are no makers marks.
